Great option for shelving
"The design and fit is well done. I think the biggest hurdle I found was the alignment of the 2 brackets as they are not attached together. To solve this, I used a wooden yardstick and put painters tape over it. I then put the mounts into the shelf and marked the outside of the brackets on the painters tape. This allowed me to use a level under the yardstick on the wall and mark the outside of the brackets and essentially mark their spots. Then I was able to mount them to the wall and the shelf fit perfect. Will agree that there is a lot of residual saw dust in the inside of the shelf. Overall very happy with the shelf."

Great looking shelf; terrible hardware.
"I got the shelves in the gray wood color. They look great. Very nice finish even if it's not real wood. I life the fit and finish. But the reason I gave it 3 stars is because the hardware for installation is downright terrible! First, for some strange reason the shelves are completely full of saw dust inside and you have to spend time shaking it trying to get it out. Inevitably, some will fall in your flooring, and you won't be able to get everything out. The website discloses that you'll need to do that, but the question still remains: why doesn't the manufacturer do that, so the customer doesn't have to? Secondly, and most troubling, the installation process is not at all easy because the two metal bars are not connected. So not only do you need to hang them so they're on a straight line, but getting the distances just perfectly right so they each fit into the holes in the shelves is VERY hard (I'm very handy, and this was very hard to do). Most other systems have one piece of metal with both bars so the only thing the consumers needs to worry about is hanging it straight. With this product it's very difficult. Lastly, many customers commented on how bad the anchors are. I just assumed that those customers were careful with them. But now that I installed it, I completely agree: the anchors are horrendous and, I think, inadequate in the long run. I ended up making about 8 holes on the wall, and I ended up having to use some other anchors I had instead and in addition. It's too bad because the product looks great. How could the company make easy changes to turn this into a 5-star product. Easy. First, either switch to one piece of metal hardware with both bars connected, or, if not, provide a paper template of exactly how far apart to hang each of the metal bars. Second, empty and vacuum all the sawdust out of the product before shipping. And third, provide real anchors that cost just a few pennies rather than the cheap and terrible anchors included in the product. Unfortunately, I ended up with too many holes and I'm not confident the shelves will hold much weight."
